Blue Peaks Roofing replaces and repairs roofs across Highlands Ranch, from hail replacements with impact-resistant shingles to leak repairs on older homes.
Every project starts with a free inspection and a straight answer about whether your roof needs a repair, a replacement or nothing at all.
Here is how we help homeowners across Highlands Ranch.
Full tear-off and replacement with a written scope, a permit and the required inspections.
Leaks, wind damage, missing shingles, flashing and vent problems. We tell you when a repair is the smarter call.
A documented inspection with photos so you know what the storm actually did to your roof.
Class 4 rated shingles, led by Atlas and also TAMKO, for homeowners who want more hail protection.
Westlake Royal stone-coated steel for homeowners who want a steel roof with a traditional look.
Gutter replacement, often scheduled with the roof so the edges are done right.
A few roofs we have installed in Highlands Ranch with Atlas and TAMKO shingles.

Hail is a regular part of spring and summer weather along the Front Range, and Highlands Ranch is no exception. A storm can bruise shingles, knock off granules and dent vents and gutters without leaving obvious damage you can see from the yard.
Many Highlands Ranch homes were built in the same era, so roofs in a neighborhood often age at about the same pace. Wind, sun and repeated storms show up as lifted tabs, granule loss and worn flashing.
If a storm has come through, a free inspection gives you documented facts before you decide anything. Read more in how to tell if your roof has hail damage.
We pull the reroof permit unless your contract says otherwise.
Highlands Ranch is not an incorporated town, so roofing permits go through the Douglas County Building Division, which offers online permitting for basic residential roofs (douglasco.gov).
Per douglasco.gov, roofing permits need a final inspection, and some roof types, such as tile and steel systems, also need a mid-roof inspection. We schedule these and plan the job around them.
The County has its own roofing material rules, including fire-rating requirements in wildfire-mapped areas (douglasco.gov), so we confirm what applies to your address before we order materials.
Rules change as codes are updated, so we confirm the current requirements with the County when we pull your permit. For more background, see roofing permits: city vs. county in Colorado.
Many Highlands Ranch homes are covered by community covenants with architectural review, and a change in roof color or material often needs approval before work starts. Check your community guidelines early so the approval does not hold up your schedule.
We can provide the product details, color names and samples your reviewers ask for so you can submit your request. If you serve on a board or manage a community, see our HOA and multi-family roofing page.
The Douglas County Building Division (douglasco.gov), because Highlands Ranch is unincorporated. We pull the reroof permit unless your contract says otherwise.
Often, especially if you are changing color or material. Check your community guidelines before work is scheduled. We can provide the product information you need to submit.
Nothing. We inspect, document what we find and explain your options. There is no obligation.
We usually start with Class 4 impact-resistant shingles from Atlas, and we also install TAMKO and GAF products. See our impact-resistant shingles page.

Picking a roofing company is hard. Many will promise incentives to use them. One even tried to bring me a case of palisade peaches haha. Benny Izquierdo of Blue Peaks Roofing LLC is the real deal! He made time to meet with our insurance adjuster & was instrumental in getting the needed monies for the hail damage we had suffered. His crew is fast & efficient and do quality work at every turn. Even going the extra mile for above industry standards on the Ice & Water shielding underlay, Class 4 shingles and such I won’t lie, getting a roof and dealing with roofing company sales pitches is stressful. And no two stories are the same. Each has their own version of the damage and what will probably need to be done as extras, such as replacing boards. You’ll be informed in great detail of the overall plan. Many pages of it haha. But no matter any issues that can even only be discovered during the install, Benny & Blue Peaks will keep on it. Do yourself a favour and at least speak with him first before signing up another companyPosted on Google![]()

Outstanding! Above and beyond my expectations. I was so tired of roofers 'ghosting' me and being late and calling me back.
