Blue Peaks Roofing replaces and repairs roofs in the foothills and mountain communities west of Denver, including Conifer, Evergreen and Indian Hills, and in Estes Park, where we have completed many projects.
Mountain roofs deal with heavy snow, strong wind, intense sun and wildfire rules. Every project starts with a free inspection and a straight answer about what your roof needs.
Here is how we help homeowners in the foothills and mountains.
Full tear-off and replacement with a written scope, a permit and the required inspections.
Leaks, wind damage, missing shingles, flashing and vent problems. We tell you when a repair is the smarter call.
A documented inspection with photos so you know what the storm actually did to your roof.
Class 4 rated shingles, led by Atlas and also TAMKO, for homeowners who want more hail protection.
Westlake Royal stone-coated steel for homeowners who want a steel roof with a traditional look.
Gutter replacement, often scheduled with the roof so the edges are done right.
Standing seam metal roofs, a common choice for mountain homes, with snow retention planned in.
A few roofs we have installed in Conifer, Evergreen, Indian Hills and Estes Park.

Heavy snow loads, ice at the eaves and snow sliding off upper roofs. We pay close attention to underlayment at the eaves, ventilation and, on metal roofs, snow retention.
Ridgelines and open slopes take strong gusts. Proper fastening and sealed edges matter more here than in town.
High-altitude sun is hard on roofing materials, sealants and flashing, so we check those closely during inspections.
Much of the foothills is mapped wildfire area, which affects which roof assemblies are allowed. We plan around Class A rated roof assemblies where they are required.
We pull the reroof permit unless your contract says otherwise. Which office issues it depends on where your home is.
Conifer, Evergreen and Indian Hills are unincorporated, so most homes there are permitted through Jefferson County Building Safety (jeffco.us). Some addresses with these names fall in a neighboring county, so we confirm the right office for your address. Each structure, such as a house and a detached garage, needs its own roofing permit.
Jefferson County has adopted wildfire building requirements, and in the mapped wildfire area a Class A roof assembly is required (jeffco.us). We check the mapping for your address before we order materials.
Per jeffco.us, the County requires a complete tear-off rather than an overlay, with a mid-roof inspection and a final inspection. We schedule these and plan the job around them.
Homes inside a town are permitted by that town's building department, and homes outside town limits by the county. In Estes Park we confirm the right office and its requirements for your address.
Rules change as codes are updated, so we confirm the current requirements with the county or town when we pull your permit. For more background, see roofing permits: city vs. county in Colorado.
Yes. We work across the Jefferson County foothills, as well as in Estes Park.
In Jefferson County's mapped wildfire area, a Class A roof assembly is required (jeffco.us). We check your address and recommend roof systems that meet the requirement.
Not in unincorporated Jefferson County, which requires a complete tear-off (jeffco.us). We confirm the rule for your address when we pull the permit.
It depends on the home, the roof pitch and your budget. Impact-resistant shingles, stone-coated steel and standing seam metal are all common choices, and we explain the tradeoffs during the inspection.
Nothing. We inspect, document what we find and explain your options. There is no obligation.

I had piece of mind getting a free estimate on a damaged roof. After hearing about the 50 warranty on the metal roof I was sold. No more damaged roofs for this guy. Please do what I did and get these guys working on your roof asap.Posted on Google![]()

Picking a roofing company is hard. Many will promise incentives to use them. One even tried to bring me a case of palisade peaches haha. Benny Izquierdo of Blue Peaks Roofing LLC is the real deal! He made time to meet with our insurance adjuster & was instrumental in getting the needed monies for the hail damage we had suffered. His crew is fast & efficient and do quality work at every turn. Even going the extra mile for above industry standards on the Ice & Water shielding underlay, Class 4 shingles and such I won’t lie, getting a roof and dealing with roofing company sales pitches is stressful. And no two stories are the same. Each has their own version of the damage and what will probably need to be done as extras, such as replacing boards. You’ll be informed in great detail of the overall plan. Many pages of it haha. But no matter any issues that can even only be discovered during the install, Benny & Blue Peaks will keep on it. Do yourself a favour and at least speak with him first before signing up another companyPosted on Google![]()

Outstanding! Above and beyond my expectations. I was so tired of roofers 'ghosting' me and being late and calling me back.
