Blue Peaks Roofing
Our Story

Replacing Confusion
with Clarity

Blue Peaks Roofing was built on a simple idea: when you hire a roofer, you should know what is happening at every step. We inspect for free, explain what we find in plain language, and a dedicated project manager looks after your job through the final walkthrough.

A Different Kind of Roofing Company

Roofing can feel confusing, and too often it comes with high-pressure sales. We founded Blue Peaks in 2019 to offer an alternative. Our office is in Littleton, and we have been BBB A+ accredited since 2022.

We start by inspecting and explaining, not selling. We photograph what we find, give you a written, itemized estimate and give you time to decide, with no pressure.

“Our goal isn’t to sell you a roof today. It’s to give you the information you need to make the right decision for your property’s future.”

How We Take Care of You

Here is what every customer can count on, from the free inspection to the final walkthrough.

Photos Every Day

We photograph the work every day, from tear-off to cleanup, and keep daily photo logs, so there is a record of how your roof was built.

You Always Know What's Next

Your project manager sends a prep email before build day and keeps you updated every day. At completion we run a magnetic nail sweep and walk the finished job with you.

A Straight Answer

If a repair is enough, we tell you. If nothing needs fixing, we tell you that too.

What You Can Count On

We are a good fit if you want to know what is happening at every step. Along with your project manager and daily updates, you can count on:

How to Vet a Colorado Roofer (Including Us)

Restoration with a Purpose starts before anyone climbs a ladder. Since 2019, we have worked out of Littleton on residential, commercial and multi-family roofs across Colorado, and we would rather you hire the right roofer than hire us in a hurry. Use this checklist on every company you talk to, including Blue Peaks.

  1. Check local licensing and registration: Colorado has no statewide roofing license. Licensing and contractor registration are handled by cities and counties, so ask which local licenses the roofer holds and confirm they can pull the permit where you live.
  2. Ask for an insurance certificate: Ask for a current certificate of insurance showing general liability and workers’ compensation. A reputable contractor sends it without hesitation.
  3. Look at manufacturer certifications: Manufacturers only certify contractors who meet their standards. We are a TAMKO Pro Platinum contractor and an Atlas PRO+ Silver Level contractor. You can confirm any roofer’s status on the manufacturer’s own website.
  4. Call the references: Ask for recent references in your area, then actually call them. Ask whether the crew showed up when promised and how problems were handled.
  5. Get the scope, price and warranty in writing: Before you sign, you should have a written scope of work, a written price and written warranty terms. Ours is a 5-year workmanship warranty on residential roofs, plus applicable manufacturer warranties, with the terms spelled out in your contract.
  6. Know your point of contact: You should know exactly who to call from the first inspection to the final walkthrough. At Blue Peaks, that is your project manager.

Red flag: offers to pay or waive your deductible: If a roofer offers to pay, waive or rebate your insurance deductible, walk away. Colorado law prohibits it, and your insurance company doesn’t have to consider that roofer’s estimate. Our guide on how to file a roof insurance claim in Colorado walks through the process.

Vetting FAQs

Q: Does Colorado require a roofing license?
A: No. Colorado has no statewide roofing license. Many cities and counties require roofing contractors to be licensed or registered locally and to pull a permit, so check with your local building department and ask the roofer which local licenses they hold.

Q: Can a roofer pay my insurance deductible?
A: No. Colorado law (C.R.S. 6-22-105) prohibits a roofing contractor from paying, waiving or rebating your insurance deductible, including through fake discounts or ‘advertising’ credits. You are responsible for paying your deductible.
