Blue Peaks Roofing has completed many roofing projects in Castle Rock, from impact-resistant shingle replacements after hail to repairs on newer homes. We work inside the Town of Castle Rock and in the unincorporated Douglas County areas around it.
Every project starts with a free inspection and a straight answer about whether your roof needs a repair, a replacement or nothing at all.
Here is how we help homeowners across Castle Rock.
Full tear-off and replacement with a written scope, a permit and the required inspections.
Leaks, wind damage, missing shingles, flashing and vent problems. We tell you when a repair is the smarter call.
A documented inspection with photos so you know what the storm actually did to your roof.
Class 4 rated shingles, led by Atlas and also TAMKO, for homeowners who want more hail protection.
Westlake Royal stone-coated steel for homeowners who want a steel roof with a traditional look.
Gutter replacement, often scheduled with the roof so the edges are done right.
A few roofs we have installed in Castle Rock with Atlas and TAMKO shingles.

Hail is a regular part of spring and summer weather along the Front Range, and Castle Rock gets its share. A storm can bruise shingles, knock off granules and dent vents and gutters without leaving damage you can see from the driveway.
Homes on ridges and open hillsides also take more wind, and strong high-altitude sun dries out sealant and flashing over time. Lifted shingle tabs and worn vent boots are common findings during our inspections.
If a storm has come through, a free inspection gives you documented facts before you decide anything. Read more in how to tell if your roof has hail damage.
We pull the reroof permit unless your contract says otherwise. Which office issues it depends on where your home sits.
The Town of Castle Rock Building Division issues roofing permits for addresses within town limits, and applications are submitted online. Per crgov.com, a permit is required before a roof is replaced, and the Town requires a full tear-off down to the roof deck rather than an overlay.
According to the Town of Castle Rock (crgov.com), reroofs need a mid-roof inspection before the roof can be finished, followed by a final inspection. We schedule these and plan the job around them.
The Town has adopted wildfire building requirements, and depending on a property's fire intensity classification, reroofs may need to meet added requirements (crgov.com). We check the classification for your address before we order materials.
Some homes with a Castle Rock address are outside town limits. Those permits go through the Douglas County Building Division, which offers online permitting and an address lookup to confirm the right jurisdiction (douglasco.gov). The County has its own roofing material and fire-rating rules, so we confirm what applies to your address.
Rules change as codes are updated, so we confirm the current requirements with the town or county when we pull your permit. For more background, see roofing permits: city vs. county in Colorado.
Many Castle Rock neighborhoods have HOAs with architectural review for roof color, material or style, and approval usually has to come before work starts.
We can provide the product details and color information your HOA asks for so you can submit your request. If you serve on a board or manage a community, see our HOA and multi-family roofing page.
We also work in Parker, Littleton and Centennial, and across the south Denver metro.
Yes. Per the Town of Castle Rock (crgov.com), a building permit is required before replacing a roof. We pull the reroof permit unless your contract says otherwise.
No. The Town of Castle Rock requires a full tear-off and does not allow overlays (see crgov.com). We confirm the current rule when we pull your permit.
A Castle Rock mailing address does not always mean town limits. Douglas County has an online address lookup (douglasco.gov) that shows which jurisdiction you are in, and we confirm it before we apply for the permit.
Nothing. We inspect, document what we find and explain your options. There is no obligation.
We usually start with Class 4 impact-resistant shingles from Atlas, and we also install TAMKO and GAF products. See our impact-resistant shingles page.

Picking a roofing company is hard. Many will promise incentives to use them. One even tried to bring me a case of palisade peaches haha. Benny Izquierdo of Blue Peaks Roofing LLC is the real deal! He made time to meet with our insurance adjuster & was instrumental in getting the needed monies for the hail damage we had suffered. His crew is fast & efficient and do quality work at every turn. Even going the extra mile for above industry standards on the Ice & Water shielding underlay, Class 4 shingles and such I won’t lie, getting a roof and dealing with roofing company sales pitches is stressful. And no two stories are the same. Each has their own version of the damage and what will probably need to be done as extras, such as replacing boards. You’ll be informed in great detail of the overall plan. Many pages of it haha. But no matter any issues that can even only be discovered during the install, Benny & Blue Peaks will keep on it. Do yourself a favour and at least speak with him first before signing up another companyPosted on Google![]()

Outstanding! Above and beyond my expectations. I was so tired of roofers 'ghosting' me and being late and calling me back.
