Blue Peaks Roofing is a roofer serving Castle Pines, between Lone Tree and Castle Rock along I-25. We replace and repair roofs on homes across the city and the surrounding Douglas County neighborhoods.
Every project starts with an inspection and a straight answer about whether your roof needs a repair, a replacement or nothing at all. If you go ahead, a dedicated project manager runs the job, with daily updates, through the final walkthrough.
Here is how we help homeowners across Castle Pines.
Full tear-off and replacement in Castle Pines with a written scope, a permit and the required inspections.
Leaks, wind damage, missing shingles, flashing and vent problems. We tell you when a repair is the smarter call.
A documented inspection with photos so you know what the storm actually did to your roof.
Class 4 rated shingles, led by Atlas and also TAMKO and GAF, for homeowners who want more hail protection.
Gutter replacement, often scheduled with the roof so the edges are done right.
Hail is a regular part of spring and summer along the Front Range, and storms moving across Douglas County regularly reach Castle Pines. A storm can bruise shingles, knock off granules and dent vents and gutters without leaving damage you can see from the street.
Many homes here sit on hillsides and open ridgelines, where wind takes a toll. The City designs to a 105 mph gust wind speed, and lifted shingle tabs, loose ridge caps and worn vent boots are common findings during our inspections.
If a storm has come through, an inspection gives you documented facts before you decide anything. Read more in how to tell if your roof has hail damage.
We pull the reroof permit unless your contract says otherwise. Which office issues it depends on where your home sits.
The City of Castle Pines Building Department issues roofing permits for addresses in city limits. Per castlepinesco.gov, a reroof is a 1-Stop permit applied for online, with no drawings, and is typically issued within 24 hours once the application is processed.
The City requires a permit for any reroof or any repair that replaces more than 25 percent of the roof. Asphalt shingles must meet listed wind ratings, and drip edge is required on all eaves and rakes.
Some homes with a Castle Pines address are outside city limits. Those permits go through the Douglas County Building Division, which offers an address lookup to confirm the right jurisdiction (douglasco.gov).
Rules change as codes are updated, so we confirm the current requirements with the city or county when we pull your permit. For background, see roofing permits: city vs. county in Colorado.
Many Castle Pines neighborhoods have HOAs with design review for roof color, material or style, and approval usually has to come before work starts.
We can provide the product details and color information your HOA asks for so you can submit your request. If you serve on a board or manage a community, see our HOA and multi-family roofing page.
We install Atlas, TAMKO and GAF shingles, from architectural shingles to Class 4 impact-resistant lines for more hail protection. See residential roofing and impact-resistant shingles.
We also install stone-coated steel, standing seam metal and concrete tile, which are popular choices on larger homes.
We do not have published project photos from inside Castle Pines yet. These are recent roofs from neighboring Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch.

Castle Pines sits between Lone Tree and Castle Rock. We also work in Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Parker and Littleton, and across the south Denver metro.
We will inspect the roof, document what we find and explain your options in plain language. Call (303) 808-0687 or send us a note through our contact page.
