Siding Replacement for Colorado Homes

We start with a free estimate, look at the wall under your siding and explain your options in plain language. Then a dedicated project manager coordinates the work with your roof, windows and gutters, keeps you updated every day and walks the finished job with you.

You get a written estimate before any work starts. We replace siding with engineered wood, fiber cement and vinyl, and we finish with cleanup and a magnetic nail sweep.

What we install

Siding products we install

Each product has its own look, upkeep and price point. We help you weigh them for your home and budget.

LP SmartSide engineered wood

LP SmartSide is engineered wood siding made with LP’s SmartGuard process, which treats the wood strands with resins, waxes and zinc borate and adds a resin-saturated overlay (lpcorp.com). It gives a wood look with lap, panel and trim options.

Diamond Kote prefinished siding

Diamond Kote is a factory prefinish applied to LP SmartSide. Per diamondkotesiding.com, the finish uses metal-oxide pigments and is applied at the factory, so the siding arrives already finished in your chosen color.

James Hardie fiber cement

Fiber cement siding is made mainly from cement, sand and cellulose fibers. James Hardie offers it in lap, panel and shingle profiles, and in factory-finished colors.

Vinyl siding

Vinyl is a budget-friendly option that does not need regular painting. It comes in many colors and profiles, and we help you choose a product that fits your home and budget.

Signs it is time

When siding needs attention

  • Cracked, split, warped or loose boards or panels
  • Soft spots, swelling or rot, often near the roof line, windows or the ground
  • Paint or finish that keeps failing in the same places
  • Hail dents, cracks or holes after a storm
  • Gaps at trim, corners or windows where water can get behind the siding

Some of these can be repaired. Others point to water getting behind the siding, and that is worth finding before it reaches the wall framing. For a deeper comparison of materials, read our guide to siding options for Colorado.

One exterior, one plan

Why we coordinate siding with your roof and windows

Where a roof meets a wall, the step flashing and kickout flashing sit behind the siding. Replacing siding is a good time to check and correct those details, and replacing a roof is a good time to plan siding work around them.

Windows work the same way. If you are thinking about new windows, doing them before or with new siding lets the window flashing tie into the new wall cleanly. See window replacement and when to replace windows during a reroof.

We also handle gutter replacement, which is often scheduled with siding or roofing so the edges are finished together. For an overview of how we approach the whole exterior, see windows and siding.

Common questions

Siding FAQ

Which siding is right for my home?

It depends on the look you want, your budget and how much upkeep you are comfortable with. Engineered wood, fiber cement and vinyl each have tradeoffs, and we explain them for your home during the estimate.

What is the difference between LP SmartSide and Diamond Kote?

Diamond Kote is a factory finish applied to LP SmartSide engineered wood siding (diamondkotesiding.com). You can also install LP SmartSide and paint it on site.

Can you replace siding and the roof at the same time?

Yes. Doing them together, or planning them in the right order, makes it easier to get the flashing right where the roof meets the walls.

Do I need HOA approval for new siding?

Often, especially if you are changing color or material. Check your community guidelines early. We can provide product details and color information for your request.
